The sun has been shining on Shropshire for over a week now and the hills are glistening white with the remains of the snow. All roads are open and most footpaths are passable so the walkers are out in strength taking advantage of the beautiful Alpine-like conditions. All National Trust gardens are fully open and the daffodils seems to have survived the snow’s ravages. Log fires burning in both lounges – much appreciated by the hotel guests. Hotel nearly completely full for the next few weeks.
