afternoon tea at Pen-y-Dyffryn

Pen-y-Dyffryn Blog December 2015

We won three hotel awards last month. Sawday’s Special Places gave us their “Favourite Hotel Award 2016″, and The Good Hotel Guide have awarded us two awards – the “Rooms with a View Award 2106” and the “Walking Hotel Award 2016”. We were also nominated by the Telegraph this summer as one of the Top Five Hotel Gardens in the UK. We were also chosen as one of Britain’s Cosiest Places to Stay in the Sunday Telegraph this year. And Tripadvisor have given us their Certificate of Excellence and their very top award – the “Five Bubble” review -  “Still wonderful! and has been for years…”

Congratulations to all staff who work so hard to ensure we provide our guests with top quality service. And thank you to all the guests who nominated us.

Cold and sunny at the moment, and our guests are taking afternoon tea and scones (or something stronger)  by the fire. The National Trust gardens are still open, as are some of the properties. The hills are great for walking in at the moment, and the kitchen is serving up its Winter menus. We still have few rooms left on our special offers pages, so check out our best prices online.
