Reflexology Foot Massage

Reflexology is a way of helping the body to activate its own healing powers. Some of the many benefits are stress reduction and deep relaxation, improved circulation and the removal of toxins through the lymphatic system. It has been shown to increase energy levels and mental alertness. It is not a medical procedure and does not claim to cure any specific condition. It is a foot therapy.

Aromotherapy

Aromatherapy is designed to give benefits through the long slow relaxing movements and also by the selection of essential oils that can stimulate the senses and help to improve both mood and physical conditions. The oils are then selected to enhance this effect and care is taken to ensure that the oils are both suitable for and pleasing to the client. Full body massage including scalp and a facial.

Manicures and Pedicures

A manicure should improve the texture and health of both the nails and the skin of your hands, as well as leaving them looking polished and perfect. A good manicure will:

* clean, shape, strengthen and even "dress" your nails

* attend to any skin problems you might have around the nail, such as broken or sore skin

* use acupressure or hand-massage techniques to stimulate the blood and lymph flow to improve the health of your skin

* use oils, creams and waxes to exfoliate, cleanse and improve the texture of your nails and the skin of your hands

Apart from making sure your hands and nails look and feel good, a manicure often has the side-effect of relaxing and soothing you

A pedicure is a beauty treatment for your feet. A pedicurist removes dead skin, softens hard skin and shapes and treats toe-nails, and also massages softening and soothing oils and creams into your foot to make it feel as though you are walking on air.

Shellac is the brand name for a new, patent pending nail product created by Creative Nail Design. It is a hybrid, meaning half nail polish, half gel. The product is thin and strong enough to be applied similarly to nail polish, but it is cured in a way that gives it great flexibility and durability. It also has the incredible shine associated only with gel nails.

Gel nails are a type of artificial nails that most closely resembles the natural nail. Gel nails are similar to acrylic nails, as they are both made from a combination of a monomer liquid and polymer powder. The monomer liquid reacts with the polymer powder to form long polymer strands. The strands, when dry, form a hard resin that resembles a fingernail. Gel nails, unlike standard acrylic nails, contain additional short chain monomers, known as oligomers, that makes the nails more flexible.

Acrylic nails are artificial nails that are pasted onto natural nails.  They are made by mixing a specific powder with a liquid.
