Ground Floor Bedroom
The hotel has a ground floor room particularly suitable for infirm or partially disabled guests. This is called the Terrace Room, as it has French Windows onto the hotel terrace. (See image above). This room has a fabulous walk-in power shower, and the bed can be made up as a twin or a double. It is categorised as a “Standard” grade of bedroom.
The hotel has no steps on the ground floor, but it is only appropriate to point out that Pen-y-Dyffryn is built on the side of a hill and this means that there are steps to get into the hotel. There are also steps within the garden.
But we do have a disabled parking bay reserved for offloading luggage, and for arriving and departing customers.
The Terrace Room is suitable for infirm guests, but we do not advise guests who are completely wheelchair bound to stay at the hotel unless they have personal assistance. We will of course assist where we can.
Please ask for the “Terrace Room” if you require this particular bedroom
