A Golf Hotel in Shropshire and Mid-Wales
If you want to play golf in Shropshire look no further. There are six superb eighteen-hole golf courses within 20 minutes of the hotel and we have arranged special reduced green fees for our guests at some of these courses. If you would like us to book you a tee time just let us know in advance, but we have listed the courses and their telephone numbers below for your convenience.

The three long-established courses are:-
Oswestry Golf Club (01691 610220). On the A5 towards Shrewsbury. A mature, parkland course. Hotel guests qualify for a £20.00 midweek green fee (normal rate £32.00) and a £25.00 rate on Saturdays (normal rate £38.00) www.oswestrygolfclub.co.uk/
Mile End Golf Club (01691 671246). A forgiving, parkland course. Hotel guests qualify for "2-for-1" green fees at the all day rate. www.mileendgolfclub.co.uk/

Three newer courses have been established and are proving popular:-
Chirk Golf Club (01691 774407). Close to Chirk Castle at Chirk. Reputedly the longest par five in Europe! www.chirk.com/golf.html
Henlle Golf Club (01691 670680). A testing parkland course with some water, just north of Oswestry. Hotel guests are entitled to 2-for-1 green fees at all times. www.henllegolf.co.uk/
