Golfing in Shropshire and Mid-Wales

There are a total of six superb eighteen-hole golf courses in the immediate area:

Oswestry - a long established, beautiful parkland course.

Llanymynech - Ian Woosnam's home course. Hilly. Suits lower handicap players.

Miles End - a well-kept, forgiving course. Hotel guests have two-for-one green fees.

Henlle - plenty of water and mature trees.

Chirk - Championship course. Reputedly has Europe's longest par five.

Llangollen - Probably the most scenic course. Mountains close by, and the River Dee.
