A Shropshire Country Hotel with log fires
Hotels with real log fires are becoming harder to find as high labour costs, central heating and maintenance free "gas effect" fires cause many hotels to find reasons not to retain them. But not at Pen-y-Dyffryn.
Here we light two log fires in the cooler months, one in the front lounge and one at the end of the restaurant. You are always close to a real fire, and many of our guests curl up with a good book and a bottle of wine for a hours on end. There are plenty of board games too, so challenge your partner to Scrabble or Trivial Pursuits!
So enjoy your day out and about and come home to real fire. (And tea, and cake, and wine. and food............!!)
