Hotels that welcome pets are an increasing rarity. Pen-y-Dyffryn, on the other hand, has been a pet friendly hotel for over twenty years. Pets stay free. And we see no reason whatsoever to change our policy.
We are ideally placed to take dogs - well away from roads and traffic, with five acres of our own grounds, and there is a 100-acre woodland next door with unlimited public access. So your pet can have a holiday too!
We also have several “cottage style” rooms with ground floor access in the adjoining Coach House. Each room has it’s own private stonewalled patio, so you can sit outside with your pet and a cup of tea in glorious relaxation. These rooms are often the first to get booked up in the hotel each year.
Hotels that welcome Dogs
In this over-regulated world we try to have as few rules as possible for our canine guests, but in order to respect the sensitivities of our other visitors we do make the following requests :–
- Please keep dogs out of the public rooms after 6.00pm.
- Pets may be left unattended in the bedroom during dinner provided you are confident of their behaviour. Otherwise we suggest you leave them in the car while you are eating.
- Pets are not permitted on the beds or furniture. We suggest you bring a dog-bed and some towels with you.
- Please “scoop-and-bin” in the hotel gardens.
