We were included in an article last month in The Sunday Telegraph, nominating our hotel garden as one of the top five in the country. We were very happy with that! We also recently received two awards from the Good Hotel Guide – the “Rooms with a View Award” and the “Walking Hotel Award”. Thank you to all the guests who nominated us. Also pleased to be chosen as one of Britain’s “Cosiest Places to Stay” in the Sunday Telegraph. Described by them as ” a haven of peace in this crazy world” and “a timeless cossetting hotel”.
The sun is finally out in full force and guests are taking afternoon tea and scones (or something stronger) in the Summerhouse (see picture above). The lambs are fattening in the fields and the National Trust gardens are in full glory – Powis Castle, Erdigg, Chirk Castle and Attingham Hall. The hills are beautiful for walking in at the moment, and the kitchen is flooded with seasonal produce to whet your appetite. We still have few rooms left on our special offers pages, so check out our best prices online. Must go now – the Spaniel is waiting for her walk.
