Our restaurant is located 3 miles west of Oswestry, just over the Old Racecourse, and is open to non-residents 7 days a week.
Pen-y-Dyffryn is one of the longest established AA Two Rosette restaurants in Shropshire – an award held continuously for nearly 20 years now. We offer a fine-dining experience with beautifully presented dishes, such as Sirloin of Welsh Celtic Pride Beef, Parmentier Potatoes, Pancetta, Wild Mushrooms, Red Wine Jus and Organic Watercress, or Halibut Fillet, Devon Crab, Spring Onion, Red pepper & Aged Parmesan Cheese Risotto. Fillet steak is available every day of the week, but the rest of the menu changes every single day of the year, with a choice of at least four dishes at each course and there is always a vegetarian choice. The menu changes daily, and locally sourced ingredients are used wherever possible. All vegetables are included in the price.
We cater for most food allergies and dietary preferences. (Please give 24 hours notice). And of course we have an extensive wine list (70 bins) and a well stocked bar. Take your aperitifs out onto our south and west facing terraces in the warmer months and admire the sunset over the surrounding Welsh hills.
We offer a 5 course meal for £45.00, but if you choose to have fewer courses then we reduce the price accordingly.
