We produce free walking guides
To maximise our guests’ enjoyment of the countryside we have produced a folder of walks (sample walk here), all starting from the hotel front door. Walks range from 30 minutes to all day treks, many with a pub-stop half way. Copies of the walks are freely available to our guests, and packed lunches can also be provided.
The 100-acre woods adjoining the hotel are entirely public open space and are very safe for dog walking. The view from the Cliff Top Walk just above the hotel is shown at the top of this page. Offa’s Dyke long distance footpath passes only a mile from the hotel, and several of our walks include stretches of this ancient earthwork.
