Relax by a Real Fire
Hotels with log fires are becoming harder to find as high labour costs cause many hotels take them out. But not at Pen-y-Dyffryn Hotel.
Here we light two log fires in the cooler months, one in the front lounge and one at the end of the restaurant. You are always close to a real fire, and many of our guests curl up with the newspapers, a good book, and a restoring “cuppa” or a bottle of wine. There are plenty of board games too, so challenge your partner to Scrabble or Trivial Pursuits, or with provocative conversation.
So enjoy your day out exploring our marvellous countryside and charming towns and villages, and come back to real fire. And tea, and cake, and wine, and food and, of course, a warm welcome.
And yes, we do also have central heating!
And of course we are a Pets Welcome Hotel, so your dog can enjoy the log fire as well! Pets stay free.
